Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a motivated IT Asset Management Analyst to support asset management operations, data integrity, and related technology processes. Experience with ServiceNow and HAM Pro is preferred, with a focus on security, chain-of-custody, and cross-department collaboration.

The role offers training, room to grow in Asset Management, and a contract-to-hire path based in Plainfield, IN. Flexible start times and occasional overtime/weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
• HAM Pro familiarity.
• Understanding of Asset Management processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with cross-department collaboration.
• Understanding of data security principles and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Ability to follow established security policies.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management activities and related processes.
• Monitor and manage assigned ticket queues, ensuring timely processing and resolution.
• Utilize ServiceNow and HAM Pro to manage, track, and maintain asset records.
• Update asset records as required, including transportation and inventory status changes.
• Coordinate hard drive decommissioning activities and maintain documentation/audit records.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist with asset audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with data security, asset management, and information governance policies.
• Maintain proper chain-of-custody and security controls for IT assets and media.
• Support audits and compliance activities related to asset management and data security.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Assist with process improvements and continuous quality initiatives.
• Help move shipments to/from the receiving dock as needed.
