Job summary

Clarity Partners is hiring an IT Asset Management Analyst to support the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets in a hybrid Chicago setting. You will manage procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance, and disposal, and administer the CMDB to ensure data accuracy and ITSM alignment.

The role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with 2+ years in IT asset management, experience with ServiceNow or Freshservice, and familiarity with CMDB, SAM, and licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of IT Asset Management experience, including hardware and software assets.
• Experience with IT asset management platforms such as ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CMDB, ITIL/ITSM principles, and software deployment tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full IT asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, utilization, maintenance, inventory, and disposal of hardware and software assets.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, maintenance contracts, and documentation.
• Administer and maintain CMDB per ITSM standards.
• Develop and improve asset management processes, tagging, audits, and lifecycle management.
• Support SAM activities including license tracking and optimization.
• Monitor compliance with vendor agreements, licensing, and policies.
• Conduct physical inventories and restocking of IT equipment.
• Prepare reports on inventory, end-of-life equipment, licenses, and compliance metrics.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT operations, security, and other teams.
