Job summary

Clarivate seeks a Senior IP Analyst to support filing and prosecution activities, including docketing, IDS, and reference management, delivering excellent service to customers in a client‑centric culture. You will handle communications and document management in a global, matrixed environment.

The role requires 2+ years of patent docketing experience, an Associate's degree or equivalent, and proficiency with TIPMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of patent docketing experience.
• Experience using IP management software TIPMS.
• Experience in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, expresses ideas, organizes and delivers information appropriately in a virtual, highly matrixed and global environment.
• Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
• Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international communications in IP management software.
• Routinely review and file prosecution related documents with the USPTO for all stages of prosecution; coordinate timely instructions to foreign agents to meet deadlines.
• Manage, create and maintain documents on behalf of customers including scanning and filing incoming documents, retrieving, sending requested documents, file intakes and transfers.
• Prepare documents for signature and collaborate with customer contacts to fulfil requirements of various patent offices including IDS, priority claims, ADS, Power of Attorney, PCT forms.
• Maintain customer docket and run reports; communicate deadlines and status of applications.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of domestic and international IP office rules and procedures.
• Assist in establishing policies and procedures to ensure quality and meet customer needs.
• Document and track daily work in time-tracking system within deadlines and SLAs.
• Liaise with all areas of the business to meet customer expectations by ensuring service levels.
