Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an IP Paralegal Assistant to support patent and trademark matters in a busy IP practice. The role may be filled remotely, The Link virtual office, or at any firm location, offering long-term career growth within a close-knit team.

Ideal candidates have one year of patent experience, excellent organization, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with electronic filings are preferred, with a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• One year of patent experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic court filings.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys and paralegals with Patent & Trademark matters.
• Coordinate docketing, status reports, and international filings.
• Maintain docket system of due dates and patent annuities.
• Perform document management, data entry and filing tasks.
• Learn and implement new AI tools in the IP practice.
