Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an IP Paralegal Assistant to support patent and trademark matters in a busy IP practice. This role involves assisting attorneys and paralegals with docketing, filing, portfolio management, and patent maintenance, with the position potentially filled remotely or at any firm location.

Ideal candidates have one year of patent experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• One year of patent experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic court filings.
• Ability to prioritize workflow and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys and paralegals with patent and trademark matters.
• Docketing, electronic filing, portfolio management, and maintenance of patent applications.
• Data entry and document management duties as needed.
• Meet annual targeted billable hours of 1000.
