Ethos is seeking an experienced IP attorney to help train an AI model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will craft opinions on trademarks, respond to office actions, analyze copyright issues, and review licensing agreements, with a focus on precision and clarity.

This remote, flexible role requires 4+ years in trademark and/or copyright law, with ownership of drafting and reviewing filings. Expect 5–20 hours per week, ASAP start, and compensation at $100/hour.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with 4+ years practicing trademark or copyright law.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing trademark filings, office-action responses, or infringement opinions.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail for document, spreadsheet, and slide work.

Responsibilities

• Perform trademark clearance and registrability opinions.
• Draft and respond to office actions and infringement analyses.
• Review licensing and assignment agreements; handle cease-and-desist communications.
• Maintain portfolio and docket trackers; support AI-generated document work.
