Job summary

Soracom is hiring a Customer Success Engineer / Architect to act as the technical counterpart to our Customer Success Managers for strategic accounts. Focus on post-sales engagement, deep-diving into deployments, architectures, and market environments to drive retention and revenue expansion.

You will partner with customers to optimize Soracom services, identify value opportunities, and expand platform usage. Travel as needed, with a strong emphasis on measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IoT, networking, cloud architecture, or related customer-facing roles.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid foundation in networking, cloud, and software development.
• Strong problem-solving in complex systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across parallel engagements.
• Strong interpersonal and global collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Success Managers to support and grow strategic accounts.
• Own the technical success and ongoing optimization of deployments.
• Develop deep understanding of customer architectures, device deployments, and connectivity models.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering and product teams.
• Lead technical discovery, demos, and presentations, adapting to customer requirements.
• Support solution-focused discussions for existing account expansion.
• Identify expansion opportunities and support renewals through technical guidance.
• Help customers adopt additional Soracom capabilities to increase long-term value.
• Translate customer pain points into clear technical and business-aligned solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align needs with product direction and delivery.
• Contribute to best practices and reusable assets to scale efforts.
• Collect and share competitive insights to inform product strategy.
