Job summary

Edison Smartae is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer deployments of our IoT solutions. You will design and implement end-to-end technical architectures and ensure production-ready deployments while partnering with product and engineering teams.

You will leverage APIs, data flows, and cloud platforms to deliver scalable, customer-ready integrations and work closely with enterprise customers to translate requirements into concrete technical designs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical deployments for enterprise customers.
• Design end-to-end solutions using the IoT platform.
• Translate customer workflows into scalable technical architectures.
• Build integrations, scripts, and prototypes for deployments.
• Troubleshoot deployment challenges and support production rollouts.
• Deliver technical workshops and customer onboarding.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to drive product improvements.
• Support customers as they expand deployments across operations.
