Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to lead pharmacy inventory control programs, drive data-driven improvements, and standardize processes across receiving, movement, dispensing, and disposition. The role emphasizes audits, standard operating procedures, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Compliance, and Engineering.

This position requires leading physical inventories, cycle counts, and KPI monitoring, with a focus on reducing write-offs, shrink, and excess stock.

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory within pharmacy operations, supply chain, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or related environment.
• Experience leading physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, ERP, or similar systems.
• Experience training employees on inventory systems, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control programs across pharmacy operations, including physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Analyze inventory data to identify root causes and reduce adjustments, write-offs, expired products, excess inventory, and shrink.
• Establish standardized processes for receiving, put-away, inventory movement, dispensing, returns, transfers, quarantine, and disposition.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, days on hand, inventory turns, expirations, and other key performance indicators.
• Build dashboards and reports that highlight inventory risks, trends, and exceptions.
• Partner with Pharmacy Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, Data, Product, and Engineering to strengthen inventory controls.
• Develop standard operating procedures and training materials for inventory processes.
• Improve inventory systems and automate manual controls and reporting.
• Lead and train inventory team members while establishing clear performance measures.
• Support audits, new pharmacy locations, system implementations, and operational expansions.
