Job summary

Stride K12 partner Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) seeks an Intervention Specialist for Grades 3-5 to modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to meet diverse needs, and to teach literacy, communication, and math skills. This role writes compliant IEPs and collaborates with general education teachers.

The full-time remote position requires Ohio Certification, travel up to 20%, and a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Special Education with 3+ years of classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Modify/adapt K-12 curriculum to meet student needs.
• Writes and maintains compliant IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Collaborates with general education teachers to meet student goals.
• Proctors testing and alternative assessments as required.
• Travel up to 20% and willingness to obtain Ohio Certification.
