Job summary

Stride, Inc. through its OHVA program seeks an Intervention Specialist for Grades 3-5 to support students with diverse needs. This full-time remote role requires collaboration with general education teachers, writing IEPs, and adapting K12 curriculum to state standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Special Education, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 3+ years of classroom experience. Travel up to 20% may be required; Ohio Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• Approximately 3+ years of classroom experience in Special Education.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Modify or adapt the K12 curriculum to meet state standards and student needs.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student goals.
• Proctor achievement tests and other required assessments, including alternates if needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
