Job summary

Stride, Inc. through Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) seeks an Intervention Specialist for grades 3-5. You will modify the K12 curriculum to fit individual student needs, write IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals.

The role emphasizes literacy, communication, and math skills while supporting independent living outcomes. The position is full-time and remote, with a flexible schedule and up to 20% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education teachers
• Writes and maintains compliant IEPs for students with disabilities
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Flexible schedule with travel up to 20% of the time
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Special Education preferred

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt K12 curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals
• Proctor testing and alternative assessments as required
• Travel as needed up to 20%
• Use Microsoft Office and web tools to manage documentation and communication
