Stride, Inc. is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA). This full-time remote role requires guiding Grades 3-5 students with disabilities to adapt lessons, develop independent living skills, and support literacy, communication, and math progress.

Responsibilities include drafting IEPs, collaborating with teachers, and communicating with families. Travel up to 20% may be required; Ohio licensure is essential in a national remote setting.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Modify and adapt K12 curriculum to meet student needs.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals.
• Educate parents on instructional strategies.
• Prepare appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings.
• Administer tests and assessments as required.
• Collaborate with related services to monitor IEP goals.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrate strong presentation and organizational skills.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
