Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Intervention Specialist for the Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA). The role is fully remote, supporting Grades 3–5 with disabled students, focusing on tailored literacy, math, and independent living skills.

Responsibilities include IEP development, collaboration with general ed teachers, parent education, and documentation. Strong communication and organization are essential; travel may be required up to 20%.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Remote/work-from-home capability

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt K12 curriculum to meet state standards and student needs
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals
• Educate parents on instructional strategies
• Prepare documentation for IEPs and meetings
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings
• Proctor testing and alternative assessments as required
• Collaborate with related services to monitor IEP goals
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication
• Demonstrate strong presentation and organizational skills
