Stride K12 partner Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) is seeking an Intervention Specialist for grades 3-5. This remote, full-time role supports students with diverse disabilities by adapting instruction, writing IEPs, and collaborating with general education teachers and families to build literacy, math, and independent living skills.

Front-runners hold the Ohio Intervention Specialist License and a Bachelor's degree; Microsoft Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License or eligible
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent education/experience considered
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer skills

Responsabilités

• Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals
• Educate parents on instructional strategies
• Prepare appropriate documentation and reports
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings
• Proctor required testing and assist with assessments
• Collaborate with related services teams to monitor IEP goals
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate organizational and multitasking abilities
• Work independently with a flexible schedule and travel up to 20% if needed
