Job summary

Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency is seeking an Intake Specialist to support individuals with disabilities through intake into the VR program. You will gather information, enter data, and prepare correspondence, while uploading records and ensuring accurate client information.

Under supervision, you will interview individuals to obtain necessary details, provide referrals, and maintain professional communication with clients and team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in a social services-related role.
• Preferred associate degree or certificate in social services or related field.
• Statewide Georgia eligibility and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with individuals with disabilities to intake into VR program.
• Enter data and prepare correspondence per policies.
• Maintain accurate participant data in the client information system.
• Provide referral and application services and upload supporting documents.
• Ensure confidentiality in handling test results and case files.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and coordinate with providers and team.
