Job summary

eAssist, the nation’s largest outsourced dental billing company, is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to provide accurate insurance breakdowns for dental practices. You will work from home as an independent contractor, meeting client expectations and delivering high-quality service.

Key tasks include verifications within 48 hours of appointments, entering data into the patient document center, and using a dental software system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in dental insurance verification as a dental office manager, insurance coordinator, or similar role.
• Proficiency with at least one dental software system.
• Self-motivated and able to set own schedule as an independent contractor.
• Team player mentality to collaborate with other contractors and practice staff.
• High-speed internet and a PC/Mac meeting current operating system requirements.
• Ready to dedicate at least 3 hours daily during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate insurance verifications within 48 hours prior to patient appointments.
• Enter or upload insurance data into the patient document center based on client needs.
• Use a mastered dental software system to complete all verification tasks.
• Manage your own schedule and maintain a minimum of 3 hours per day, Monday‑Friday, during regular business hours.
