Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join the Revenue Cycle Management Team. You will verify patient insurance, determine benefits and eligibility, and relay appointment details to Front Desk and clinics to ensure a smooth check-in.

This role requires attention to HIPAA regulations, data accuracy, and excellent communication. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical office/front desk experience.
• Experience with insurance verification and data entry in electronic systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Support multiple departments with insurance questions and eligibility details.
• Answer calls regarding pre-registration and insurance verification.
• Prepare patient appointments to streamline check-in.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide high-quality customer service.
• Perform other duties as needed for the organization.
