Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking an experienced Dedicated Producer Attorney for its Insurance Defense Practice. The role involves handling complex personal injury defense matters, with opportunities to leverage substantial trial capabilities in a fully remote environment across multiple states including New York.

The candidate should have 5+ years of substantive insurance defense litigation experience, a JD from a top-tier law school, and active Bar admissions in at least one of the targeted states.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Arizona, California, New Jersey, New York or Texas in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive experience in insurance defense litigation and personal injury claims.
• Proven success defending personal injury and wrongful death matters through trial and resolution.
• Portable business of $350,000 or greater preferred, but not required.
• Strong legal writing and advocacy skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution across bodily injury, premises liability, motor vehicle, trucking, and general liability claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for efficient, favorable client outcomes.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Draft and argue motions, oversee discovery, and manage all aspects of case development.
• Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and coordinate expert engagements.
• Represent clients at court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, settlements, and trials.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and co-counsel for effective case management.
• Maintain high standards of client service while managing multiple matters and deadlines.
