Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in AZ, CA, NJ, NY or TX, in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience defending personal injury and wrongful death matters through trial.
• Familiar with premises liability, motor vehicle, trucking, general liability.
• Strong knowledge of medical records, causation, and damages.
• Ability to collaborate with medical experts and consultants.
• Understanding of insurer billing guidelines and e-billing.
• Excellent analytical, advocacy, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
• Prior Am Law 100/200 or equivalent firm background preferred.
• Portable book of business $350,000+ preferred but not required.
• Strong legal writing and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for efficient outcomes.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages, provide strategic recommendations.
• Draft and argue motions, oversee discovery, manage case development.
• Conduct and defend depositions, coordinate expert engagements.
• Represent clients at court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and co-counsel.
• Maintain high standards of client service while managing multiple matters and deadlines.
