Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue-cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Must have a High School or equivalent diploma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Follow up on insurance payments and verify claim status.
• Handle 40–50 accounts per workday for assigned payor(s).
• Gather demographic, clinical, and insurance information to pay claims.
• Identify and prepare less complex claims for reconsiderations and appeals.
• Deliver education and training for new hires and assist less experienced reps.
• Research patient accounts with outstanding balances and route through workflows.
• Review and adjust accounts per payor/client guidelines.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve project issues and improve workflows.
• Maintain MEDHOST Quality Management System compliance and training.
