Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines to support the account team from a flexible, remote-friendly environment for residents of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. You will assist with policy administration, renewals, billing, and client service under supervision of an Account Manager.

A valid P&C license is required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) is preferred. Typical hours align with Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Support team with daily workflow and ensure timely tasks.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, and renewals.
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and prepare submissions.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
