Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc is recruiting an Instrumentation & Controls P.E. (3945) in Paducah, KY. This is a remote position with travel to Paducah when needed.

The role requires a Kentucky-licensed PE, experience in I&C engineering for industrial/regulatory environments, and DOE project involvement. Candidates must meet DOE access and safety requirements and collaborate with multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Degree in electrical engineering or controls engineering.
• DOE facility experience and I&C engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide I&C engineering support for DOE facility modification projects.
• Develop instrument system diagrams, tabulations, loop diagrams, and control panel docs.
• Support design and integration of temperature, pressure, flow, level, and pH control loops.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems including Allen Bradley.
• Apply codes, standards, site procedures, and QA requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and client reps.
• Support field visits and project meetings at Paducah facility.
• Ensure DOE site access, safety, and radiological control requirements.
