Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Kentucky-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - Mechanical to support DOE facility modification work in Paducah, Kentucky.

The role involves design support for existing facilities, piping runs, and equipment upgrades with occasional field visits and site coordination. The ideal candidate has a PE license, a mechanical engineering degree, and DOE project experience.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• DOE experience in industrial, nuclear, or environmental facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for DOE facility modification projects, focusing on piping, pumps and equipment.
• Develop and review mechanical specifications, calculations, evaluations, and design drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule field visits and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with site access, safety and quality requirements.
