Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. seeks a Kentucky-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) specializing in chemical engineering for DOE facility modification work in Paducah, KY.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to Paducah for on-site collaboration and inspections. Responsibilities include developing process designs, specifications, and drawings for chemical systems; coordinating with vendors on treatment media; and ensuring compliance with site access, safety and radiological

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• DOE experience required.
• Experience developing chemical engineering design products (specifications, calculations, evaluations, SOWs, drawings, process flow).
• Ability to meet DOE site access, safety and radiological control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide chemical engineering support for DOE facility modification projects and chemical systems.
• Develop and review specifications, calculations, evaluations, statements of work, design drawings and process flow documentation.
• Coordinate process flow development for treatment systems and liaise with vendors on media selection.
• Apply design codes, standards and QA requirements to engineering work.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technical staff to support task execution and deliverables.
