Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Kentucky-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for Instrumentation & Controls to support DOE facility modifications in Paducah, KY. This is a remote position with travel to Paducah as needed, focusing on I&C design, PLC programming, and control system documentation.

The role includes developing instrument diagrams, supporting temperature/pressure/flow control loops, and coordinating with project teams to meet scope, schedule, and safety requirements in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and KY PE licensure required.
Experience developing I&C design products including drawings, specs, calculations.
DOE facility modification experience and industrial/regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide I&C engineering support for DOE facility modification projects.
Develop instrument diagrams, loop diagrams, and control panel docs.
Design and troubleshoot PLC systems, including Allen Bradley.
Coordinate with PMs, leads, and client reps to support task goals.
