Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking an Instructional Designer, ELA/SLA for our K-12 literacy programs. This is a fully remote role based in the United States and is a Project Status Worker (PSW) position ending 8/31/2027.

Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. You will partner with content, product management, UX, and creative media teams to design and develop digital curriculum assets that educators and students use daily.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in digital content development for teaching/learning materials
• Bachelor's or master's in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field
• Spanish-language materials experience; K-5 teaching experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to early product workstreams under management direction
• Develop digital curriculum assets (videos, eBooks, interactives, simulations)
• Design storyboards and contribute to alpha/beta builds for assets
• Assist with accessibility throughout the product development process
• Lead vendor and freelancer coordination for guidelines and timelines
