Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning and blended training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to build instructionally sound content and implement evaluation strategies. The role emphasizes adult learning principles, innovative instructional technologies, and timely delivery of high-quality materials across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, education, instructional design technology or related field.
• 5+ years in designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support training materials/solutions.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Storyline and at least one authoring tool.
• Ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop instructional objectives and evaluation strategies.
• Develops learning project proposals and ensures alignment with objectives and timelines.
• Identifies innovative ideas to gain consensus and build partnerships.
• Keeps up with trends in learning methods and applies best practices.
