Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions that boost employee productivity.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create sound objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, and stay current with adult learning practices and best practices in instructional technologies to deliver effective training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology, or related area.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Five or more years in education or business environments.
• Three or more years assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; and producing e-learning materials.
• Experience with Articulate 360 Suite is required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of Storyline is required.
• Knowledge of working with clients and subject matter experts to develop training.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives, content, and strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures instructional design solutions align with objectives and outcomes.
• Keeps current with emerging trends in learning methods and best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects and initiatives; performs other duties as assigned.
