Job summary

Hayes Company/Knight Swift Supply Chain is seeking an Instructional Designer to design and deliver blended learning across warehousing and logistics operations. You will collaborate with SMEs, HR, and leaders to build scalable onboarding and leadership development programs.

The role uses Articulate 360, Canva, and LMS tools, with travel up to 10% and remote work options. Office-based in Mesquite, TX, with flexible collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or curriculum design.
• Proficiency in e-learning development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia) and LMS – Cornerstone OnDemand preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and learning experience design (LXD).
• Excellent writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing software) is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops blended learning content using instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.
• Builds high-quality learning assets including e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, facilitator guides, and assessments.
• Collaborates with SMEs and operational leaders to translate complex processes into learner-friendly content.
• Ensures training materials align with organizational standards, requirements, and values.
• Supports curriculum mapping and the development of program structures and learning pathways.
