Job summary

The Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop an agency-wide training curriculum for Division of Developmental Disabilities employees. You will design, develop, implement, revise, and evaluate courseware to meet standards and business objectives, coordinating DBS-OPD needs and remote work as needed.

You will collaborate with leadership to identify training requirements, conduct needs assessments, and prepare instructional materials, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an applicable subject area.
• Experience training adult learners as a full-time trainer is preferred.
• Knowledge of instructional systems design and curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise courses for delivery to all staff using diverse media.
• Assess training needs via surveys, meetings, and interviews with subject matter experts.
• Prepare audio/visual materials and related training documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership and analysts to ensure training aligns with performance goals.
