Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales Applications Specialist to support the NY, NJ market with complete technical solutions. This remote role reports to the Area Sales Manager and will help the local sales team with customer engagements, quotes, and project execution from New York City, New Jersey, or Philadelphia.

Based in the Electrification Smart Buildings division, you will build relationships, train customers, and pursue cross-selling opportunities while travel remains 5-10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in electrical industry preferred.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with quick response to customer needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with contractors and channel partners a plus.
• Experience with sales tools and analytical software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and profitability through proposals and pricing insights.
• Manage and execute customer projects including quoting and invoicing.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships via training and product demos.
• Identify and influence new business opportunities through CRM and leads.
