Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pediatric Medical Coder for a fully remote, full-time position in the United States. You will review clinical documentation to assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes across pediatric hospital cases, including medical, surgical, cardiac, maternal/newborn, and trauma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inpatient ICD-10-CM/PCS coding experience.
• At least 1 year of dedicated inpatient pediatric coding experience.
• Current professional certification: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, or CPC.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, official guidelines, CMS requirements, and third-party regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical documentation and translate into codes.
• Ability to work remotely with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient pediatric medical records to assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes.
• Code a broad range of inpatient accounts (Medicare and non-Medicare).
• Apply official coding guidelines, Coding Clinic guidance, and facility requirements.
• Submit physician queries when documentation is unclear or incomplete.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy and ~2 charts per hour.
