Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced Inpatient Coder for a fully remote, full-time role with a United States base. You will review acute inpatient records, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and validate MS-DRG classifications to ensure accurate reporting and compliant reimbursement.

The position emphasizes data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with client staff. Ongoing training and credential maintenance are encouraged to support high-quality coding work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute inpatient coding experience.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential.
• Successful completion of pre-employment skills assessment.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and MS-DRG.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical documentation.
• Commitment to HIPAA and data integrity.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ongoing professional development to stay current.

Responsabilités

• Review acute inpatient records to assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes.
• Validate MS-DRG assignments based on documentation.
• Abstract diagnoses, procedures, and discharge data.
• Identify documentation gaps and query providers when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and data integrity.
• Support client staff with coding guidance and education.
• Participate in meetings and ongoing training.
