Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Minnesota Licensed Inpatient Coder to join our remote team. You will assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes for inpatient services, ensuring alignment with coding guidelines while supporting hospital operations from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Acute Care Inpatient coding experience.
• 3+ years of DRG coding and complex procedures.
• 3+ years of training and practice using ICD-10-PCS coding.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign appropriate ICD-10 codes for inpatient services, understanding their impact on DRG
• Abstract additional data elements during the Chart Review process and provide documentation feedback to providers
• Maintain coding knowledge and participate in departmental meetings and educational events
