SolutionHealth is seeking a Remote Hospital Inpatient Coder to accurately assign ICD-10 and DRG codes for hospital inpatient services across the U.S. in compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements.

Ideal candidates hold CCS or HIC certifications, have 2+ years of medical coding experience, and demonstrate strong accuracy with audits and documentation. The role supports revenue integrity and requires timely, compliant coding.

Formación

• 2+ years of medical coding experience.
• CCS or HIC Coding Certification(s) required.
• Experience with healthcare coding and documentation audits and appeals.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently and reliably.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately assign ICD-10 and DRG codes to hospital inpatient services in accordance with current coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret office, operative and procedure notes and assign codes and modifiers for compliance and optimal reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable coding standards, organizational protocols, and documentation regulations.
• Maintain a minimum of 95% coding accuracy rate through quality assurance and audits.
