• 3+ years DRG coding experience including complex procedures.
• 3+ years ICD-10-PCS procedure coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient hospital services and DRG impact.
• Abstract additional data during chart review when coding.
• Provide documentation feedback to providers and query physicians.
• Maintain up-to-date coding knowledge and participate in department meetings.
• Review charts coded, held, or missing.
