Job summary

SolutionHealth is hiring a Hospital Inpatient Coder for a remote role within the United States. You will assign ICD-10 and DRG codes for hospital inpatient services, aligning with guidelines and payer requirements to support compliant, timely reimbursement.

Collaboration with providers and coding leadership will help resolve discrepancies and support revenue cycle goals. Requires 2+ years of medical coding experience and CCS or HIC certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical coding experience
• Current CCS or HIC Coding Certification(s)
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently and reliably

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign ICD-10 and DRG codes to hospital inpatient services according to guidelines and payer requirements
• Interpret notes and assign codes and modifiers for compliant, optimal reimbursement
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and documentation regulations
• Maintain high coding accuracy through QA and audits
