Job summary

Jobrapido is seeking an Inpatient Medical Coder (CCS certified) for a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience and a CCS certificate, with familiarity in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.

You will code inpatient and outpatient accounts using Cerner, PowerChart, 3M, and EPIC, ensure DRG accuracy, and pass coding assessments. Start date is immediate with weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IP PCS coding experience.
• CCS certificate is required.
• IP and/or OP assessment test will be required.

Responsibilities

• Examines the complete medical record to determine diagnoses and procedures.
• Accurately sequences diagnoses & procedures for DRG impact.
• Maintains coding accuracy and productivity with guidelines.
