Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in inpatient coding.
• Current CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT certification required.
• Excellent computer and communication skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex inpatient visits.
• Collaborate with CDI for final MS or APR DRG and comorbidity diagnoses.
• Educate CDI on coding guidelines and conventions.
