Responsibilities

• Perform quality hospital coding on inpatient accounts (Medicare/Non-Medicare, Surgical, Medical, Cardiac, moms/babies, trauma).
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-10-PCS and third-party requirements for documentation and billing.
• Ensure services in chart are coded with appropriate ICD-10/PCS codes.
• Query for proper documentation to meet facility standards.
