Job summary

YO HR Consultancy seeks Italian bilingual expert to support inpatient coding accuracy through remote, contractor work. You will contribute to training AI systems by reviewing inpatient documentation and aligning it with ICD-10-CM codes.

You’ll evaluate AI-generated notes, test prompts across billing and regulatory tasks, and provide high-quality input to improve model learning. The role requires CIC/CCS/CPC credentials and at least 10 hours per week, with US-based remote work.

Qualifications

• Active coding certification such as CIC, CCS or CPC.
• Inpatient ICD-10-CM coding experience with DRG/CC/MCC and POA concepts.
• Experience reviewing and abstracting information from EMRs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex clinical documentation.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
• US-based.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding integrity.
• Evaluate AI-generated notes against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Validate alignment between clinical documentation and assigned codes.
• Write prompts to test AI handling of billing, coding, insurance, scheduling, and regulatory tasks.
• Correct codes/data when AI models fall short, using day-to-day operational experience.
