Job summary

YO HR Consultancy seeks Italian bilingual expert to support inpatient coding accuracy through remote, contractor work. You will contribute to training AI systems by reviewing inpatient documentation and aligning it with ICD-10-CM codes.

You’ll evaluate AI-generated notes, test prompts across billing and regulatory tasks, and provide high-quality input to improve model learning. The role requires CIC/CCS/CPC credentials and at least 10 hours per week, with US-based remote work.

Qualifications

• Active coding certification such as CIC, CCS or CPC.
• Inpatient ICD-10-CM coding experience with DRG/CC/MCC and POA concepts.
• Experience reviewing and abstracting information from EMRs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex clinical documentation.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
• US-based.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding integrity.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical notes and summaries against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Validate alignment between clinical documentation and assigned codes.
• Write prompts that test how an AI handles real healthcare administrative work, including billing and coding, insurance and prior authorization, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
• Correct the code/data when the model falls short, grounded in day-to-day operational experience.

Required Qualifications

• Active coding certification such as CIC, CCS or CPC.
• Inpatient ICD-10-CM coding experience, including DRG, MCC/CC, and POA concepts.

Compensation Structure

Compensation is task-based, meaning experts are paid per completed task that meets the project specifications. The average handling time (AHT) is approximately 1 hour per task, and the effective hourly rate will depend on the number of tasks completed and successfully signed off times the selected rate.
