Qualifications

• Active certification in CCS, CIC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT
• ICD-10 coding experience required
• Access to up-to-date ICD-10 and CPT coding books and E/M guidelines
• Currently working in medical coding or a closely related documentation role
• Availability of at least 10 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and coding integrity
• Evaluate AI-generated notes and summaries against coding standards
• Code AI-generated information using ICD and CPT/HCPCS classifications
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding
• Enter AI-generated patient information into inpatient medical record databases
