Qualifications

• Annotate inpatient records with ICD-10-CM/PCS codes.
• Identify principal/secondary diagnoses and POA indicators.
• Apply inpatient coding guidelines (UHDDS, AHA) and identify HACs/MS-DRG.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve ambiguities and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and review inpatient medical records for precise coding.
• Identify diagnoses, sequence codes, and validate MS-DRG assignment.
• Apply coding conventions and guidelines while flagging HACs/PSIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure data quality.
