Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of inpatient coding experience, CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred, with strong communication skills. This fully remote role offers a flexible schedule and contributes to healthcare data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience.
• CCS/RHIT/RHIA preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes from patient records.
• Sequence and abstract codes accurately.
• Audit and mentor Level 1 & 2 Coders.
• Maintain 95% coding accuracy and MS-DRG accuracy.
• Maintain site-specific productivity benchmarks.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and management.
