Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Inpatient Consultant to join its Health Information Systems division. You will validate and apply coding modules, collaborate with coding and clinical teams, and support CDI programs across facilities.

The role requires RHIT/RHIA with CCS or an RN with CDI credentials, a Bachelor’s or higher, and up to 50% travel domestically and internationally. Remote USA work is supported for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 7+ years coding/acute care experience.
• RHIT/RHIA with CCS certification and 5 years of inpatient CDI experience.
• RN license with 5 years acute care and CDI credentials (ACDIS or AHIMA).
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally.
• Experience with EMRs and Solventum HIS software portfolio (360 Encompass).

Responsibilities

• Validation and application of software modules relating to coding and training.
• Collaborating with coding and clinical teams and external clients including content creation.
• Presenting clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and implementing CDI programs across facilities.
• Leading audit tasks of medical record coding, documentation, compliance and DRG assignment.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and Solventum values and ethics.
