Job summary

Solventum is seeking an Inpatient Consultant to validate and apply coding modules while collaborating with clinical teams and clients. You will help present clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and implement CDI programs across facilities.

The role requires RHIT/RHIA with CCS or equivalent CDI credentials or an RN with CDI credentials, and the ability to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally. A strong HIM or nursing background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with seven years of coding or acute care experience is required
• High School Diploma or GED with eleven years of clinical or coding experience
• RHIT/RHIA with CCS certification plus CDI experience or RN with CDI credentials
• Travel up to 50% domestically/internationally

Responsibilities

• Validate and apply software modules related to coding and training
• Collaborate with coding, clinical teams and clients; create content
• Present clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and implement CDI programs
• Lead audits of medical records, coding, documentation, compliance and DRG
• Support corporate programs; ensure quality and security standards
