Job summary

Humana in the United States seeks an Innovation Portfolio Strategy Principal to translate ideas into profitable, scalable healthcare solutions. You will lead junior staff, influence senior executives, and shape go-to-market plans while leveraging human-centered design, research, and business-case development to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, or related field
• 10+ years of technical experience, clinical strategy, consulting, or innovation with a focus on digital and/or population health products
• 2-3 years of leadership/project management experience
• 3+ years of health care experience focused on Medicare populations
• Experience with healthcare data and analytics, contemporary technologies, managed care functions and care delivery models
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executives and external vendors
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with ability to identify trends and insights

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of the clinical and population health sub-portfolio of solutions
• Coordinate with strategy, design, engineering, clinical, and operations to align with partners and member needs
• Lead and develop junior team members as a manager and cross-functional leader
• Translate ideation into strategic direction and project plans through design, development and pilots
• Engage with external digital health partners to co-develop products or programs
• Define KPIs and paths to value; plan data ingestion and optimization for customer segments
• Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies with national and market leaders
• Advise on product management processes and tools like human-centered design and testing
