Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking an Innovation Portfolio Strategy Principal to identify and translate innovative ideas into profitable business initiatives.

This senior role advises senior executives and collaborates with cross-functional teams across clinical, design, engineering, and operations to drive enterprise-wide strategies. You will define objectives, develop Go-To-Market plans, and lead high-impact solutions in the Medicare segment, leveraging data analytics and human-centered design thinking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, or related field.
• 10+ years of technical experience, clinical strategy, consulting, or innovation with a focus on digital and/or population health products.
• 2-3 years of leadership/project management experience.
• 3+ years of health care experience focused on Medicare populations.
• Experience and understanding of healthcare data and analytics, contemporary technologies, managed care administrative functions and care delivery models.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executive and management audiences, and external vendors.
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience identifying trends and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of the clinical and population health sub-portfolio of solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with partner and member needs.
• Lead and develop junior team members; act as a mentor and cross-functional leader.
• Translate ideation into strategic direction and actionable project plans.
• Partner with external digital health companies to launch products or programs.
• Define KPIs and paths to incremental value, and develop data ingestion plans.
